There are many different restrictions that come with the design of CNC machining. Most of the machines have cutting tools with a cylinder shape and a flat or spherical end. Any type of surface that can’t be reached by the cutting tool cannot be CNC machined. You also want to make sure you’re paying to the temperatures during the cutting process as it can cause the work piece to deform or vibrate. This will limit the minimum wall thickness a CNC machine can have.
